A bright and nutty dressing that brings a perfect balance of sweetness, zest, and richness to your salads. Fresh orange juice provides a refreshing citrusy kick, while walnuts lend a creamy texture and depth of flavour. A touch of garlic, maple syrup, and seasoning ties it all together for a versatile dressing that’s as delicious drizzled over greens as it is on roasted vegetables or grain bowls.

Ingredients

Oranges

Juice of 2 oranges.

Method

Make the Zesty Walnut & Orange Dressing

  1. Juice the oranges.
  2. If you have a blender that can blend small things, then add the orange juice and the other ingredients your blender and process until smooth.
  3. Otherwise, mince the garlic and add to a bowl with the orange juice.
  4. Bash the walnuts with a rolling pin to make them as small as possible, or mill them in a blender. Add to the bowl.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix well.
  6. Drizzle over salad, mix into a big bowl of salad, or drizzle on a Buddha bowl.
