Phe Ledwell · Nutritional Therapist
Evidence-based, personalised nutrition for anyone who wants more energy, better health and stronger performance, whether you're plant-based, plant-curious or just want to eat well.
Welcome
A personal, plant-forward approach built around your goals, your lifestyle and the way you actually eat.
I'm Phe, a qualified plant-based nutritional therapist. I help people improve their health, energy and performance through clear, evidence-based nutrition support that's grounded in the latest scientific research, not fads or guesswork.
You don't have to be vegan to work with me. Whether you want to thrive on a fully plant-based diet, eat more whole foods, fuel your training, support a health condition or simply feel like yourself again, I'll take the time to listen and then build a personalised plan that fits your goals, your lifestyle and your tastes.
Based in Norwich and serving the surrounding Norfolk area in person, I also work with clients across the UK and worldwide via Zoom. A free 30-minute discovery call is the easiest place to start, a relaxed chat about your goals and how I can help.
How I can help
Nutrition is rarely just about knowing what to eat. It's your routine, sleep, training, stress, digestion, preferences, family life, food confidence and what actually feels doable when life is busy.
I use a plant-forward, evidence-informed approach to help you improve the quality of your diet, build sustainable habits and understand how to fuel your body properly. This is for anyone who is fully plant-based, mostly plant-based, or simply trying to eat better.
We'll look at what you're currently eating, how it fits around your lifestyle, and where small but meaningful changes could make the biggest difference. The focus is on better structure, more nutrient-dense meals, improved consistency and realistic habits that don't require you to overhaul your entire life overnight.
Whether you're training hard, getting back into exercise, building strength, improving endurance or just trying not to feel wiped out after every session, I can help you fuel properly. We'll look at energy intake, protein, carbohydrates, hydration, recovery, timing and how your food supports the training you're actually doing.
You don't have to be fully vegan to eat more plants. I can help you increase whole plant foods in a way that feels practical, balanced and nutritionally sound, including support with protein, iron, B12, omega-3s, fibre and meal ideas that don't feel like a punishment in a bowl.
Eating well as a household doesn't need to mean rigid meal plans or cooking three separate dinners. I can help with practical swaps, balanced meal frameworks, food ideas and gentle education that make it easier to feed real people with real appetites, preferences and schedules.
Whole, plant-rich meals stabilise blood sugar, fuel your day and support healthy, sustainable weight management without restrictive dieting.
A whole-food, plant-based diet is consistently linked to lower inflammation, better cholesterol and improved heart health over the long term.
Diverse plant fibres feed a healthier microbiome, easing digestion and supporting immunity, mood and overall wellbeing from the inside out.
Eating more plants is one of the most effective everyday actions for reducing your environmental impact, and it sits gently alongside animal welfare too.

"The first step to better health begins with better food."
About Phe
I'm Phe, a plant-based nutrition practitioner with a background in sports nutrition, whole-food plant-based nutrition and ongoing degree-level study in Nutritional Therapy at the University of West London.
My work is built around helping people fuel properly, improve the quality of their diet and build habits that actually fit their life. I care about the science, but I also care about the practical bit: what you eat when you're busy, tired, training, feeding a family, dealing with cravings or trying to feel more like yourself again.
Movement is a big part of my own life too. I strength train, ride mountain bikes, run, walk and practise yoga, so I understand how important it is to eat in a way that supports energy, recovery, muscle, mobility and long-term health.
I'm also working towards my Personal Trainer qualification, with the aim of bringing nutrition and training together in a more joined-up way. Food, movement and recovery are not separate things. They all affect how you feel, perform and keep going.
Perimenopause and menopause can change how your body responds to food, sleep, stress, training and recovery. You might notice shifts in energy, mood, weight, digestion, cravings, strength, sleep or body composition, and it can feel frustrating when the things that used to work suddenly do not.
This is an area I care about deeply, and my focus is on the nutrition and lifestyle foundations that can make this stage feel easier to navigate: better meal structure, enough protein, more fibre, key nutrients, practical routines, fuelling for training and sustainable habits that fit around real life.
If your symptoms are severe, complex or need more specialist hormone support, I will always be honest about that and point you towards the right next step, whether that is testing, GP support or referral to a specialist practitioner such as Ciara Foy, a nutritional therapist, author and women's health and hormone specialist.

A structured 12-week process to help you understand your body, improve your diet and build habits that last.
We'll start by looking properly at where you are now: your food diary, exercise diary, health questionnaire, sleep, routine, goals, preferences and the things that may be making consistency harder than it needs to be.
From there, we'll work through a clear coaching process: an initial consultation, a short reset phase, your personalised nutrition protocol, regular check-ins and ongoing refinements based on how your body responds in real life.
