Method
Make the Raspberry & Blueberry Smoothie
- Add everything to your blender.
- Blend for 45 – 90 seconds, depending on how good your blender is. If you’ve not got a power blender, you might need slightly longer.
- Serve immediately. If you’re not using any frozen ingredients, you may want to serve it over ice.
Phe's notes
I wanted a filling berry smoothie that’s full of flavour as I’ve found that some berry-based smoothies can be really lacking. Raspberries add a ton of flavour to smoothies and are a really good base, and they balance really well with blueberries. There’s also a bit of banana for texture.
Feel free to switch the kinds of nuts, or swap chia for flax. If you don’t have a great blender, you’d be best to add pre-ground flax.
I’ve used vanilla stevia drops as I think it needs a touch of sweetening and I really enjoy vanilla. I only ever have unsweetened protein powder, so this balances well, but if you have sweetened protein powder, then I’d suggest skipping the stevia.
