Rich, chewy, and bursting with zesty orange and deep cacao, these chocolate orange fruit & nut balls are the perfect balance of sweetness, texture, and indulgence—without any added sugar or artificial ingredients. Made with Medjool dates, cashew nuts, sultanas, raw cacao powder, and a touch of orange oil, they deliver a naturally sweet, fudgy bite with a hint of citrus.

Ideal for a quick energy boost, post-workout snack, or healthy treat, these bite-sized delights are packed with fibre, healthy fats, and plant-based goodness. Whether enjoyed on the go or with a cup of (herbal) tea, they’re proof that wholesome ingredients can taste incredible

We use medjool or deglet noir dates.

Look for oil free sultanas if you can. Raisins would work equally well.

2tsp. This is optional – they’re delicious without. Some orange oils are incredibly strong – if it’s not something you’ve used previously, I’d start with half the amount and taste to check how orangey everything is.

Make the Chocolate Orange Fruit & Nut Balls

  1. Mill nuts in your food processor. They don’t need much, just break them down a bit.
  2. Add everything else to your food processor and process until well combined.
  3. Tip out into a bowl. Weigh into 40g portions and roll into balls.
  4. These will keep in the fridge for a good few months.
