This bold and beautiful smoothie is your morning’s secret weapon – rich in antioxidants, naturally sweet, and energising without relying on caffeine or processed sugars. The frozen raspberries and banana bring a bright, tangy fruitiness, while almond butter and coconut milk lend a lush, creamy texture that feels utterly indulgent.

But behind the taste is serious plant power. Acai powder, known for its deep purple hue and wild berry flavour, is bursting with antioxidants that help combat oxidative stress and support skin, brain, and heart health. Cacao nibs add a natural source of magnesium – ideal for mood and muscle recovery.

Kale might not be the first thing you’d invite to a smoothie party, but here it blends in smoothly, offering a stealthy dose of calcium and vitamin K – both vital for strong bones and cardiovascular health. Coconut milk adds a dose of healthy fats to help absorb all those fat-soluble vitamins, while the dates and banana give natural sweetness and a little fibre to keep things ticking along nicely.

This smoothie is proof that nourishment can be deeply satisfying. Whether you’re fuelling up for the day ahead or recharging after a workout, it’s a reminder that when you eat more plants, you feed your body, your energy, and your long-term health – deliciously.

Method

Make the Acai-Raspberry Energiser Smoothie

  1. Add the water, coconut milk, kale, and frozen fruit to your blender first – this helps with a smoother blend.
  2. Add the dates, almond butter, acai powder, vanilla powder, cacao nibs, stevia, and ice.
  3. Blend on high until completely smooth – this might take a little longer if your blender isn’t high-speed, so be patient, dear wizard.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness (add more water if you prefer it thinner).
  5. Pour into your favourite glass or jar, sprinkle with a few extra cacao nibs or raspberries if you’re feeling fancy, and sip away.
