Method
Make the Chocolate Cherry Smoothie
- Add all of the ingredients to your blender.
- Blend on high until completely smooth. This should take around 45–90 seconds in a high-powered blender.
- If it’s thicker than you like, add a splash more water and blend again.
- Serve straight away.

This is listed in the “snacks” section as it’s a good meal for either than afternoon 3 – 4pm slump, or after training. It has around 30g protein and 30g carbohydrate, but the number will vary depending on what protein powder you have.
Please adjust the quantity of protein powder so that you have at least 30g.
Switching the spinach for cauliflower works well, as does switching the almond butter for cashew nuts / cashew butter.
